Raised in Chicago and the surrounding southwest suburbs, James Byron began studying theatre in 1994, at the College of Du Page, Glen Ellyn, IL under the instruction and direction of Craig Berger and Connie Canaday Howard. He then transferred to Columbia College of Chicago, IL and continued his training with David Cromer and Sheldon Patinkin.
In 2006, after relocating to Toronto, ON, Canada, James began a career in film and television.
James continues to make Toronto his home, where he thrives as a character actor, musician, and visual artist.
